Nadi Shodana, or Alternate Nostril Breathing

nadi shodana

Here is one of my favourite breathing techniques: Nadi Shodana, or Alternate Nostril Breathing.

It is one of the first techniques I have learned and one of the first that I teach to my students.
It is a purification technique that the ancient texts (Hatha Yoga Pradipika) recommend practising before starting with the Pranayamas. In fact, it helps purifying the Nadis (energetic channels), and when the Nadis are clean the Pranayama is more effective.

In its simplicity, Nadi Shodana brings many benefits, first of all energetic balance.
Yet there is much more :)

I invite you to watch the video to find out the benefits and to practise the technique with me.
You only need 5-10 minutes and you can do it at any point during the day: right after waking up to start the day the perfect way, before going to bed for a restorative sleep, or whenever you prefer.

Watch the video until the end and listen to my special thanks ♥

With Love,
Eleonora, your #earthandsoulwanderer
